The countdown has begun, 11 months 7 days 6 hours and 3 minutes until 2013, the year I finally venture out of the country and see somewhere new! Somewhere with new faces, new landscapes and new cultures... I've had the travel bug my whole life - I've just never let it loose. The top choice for travel at the moment is New Zealand, but the more I research, the more I realize just how huge this world is, and how many incredible places there are out there that are totally alien to me and ready to be explored. This summer I've decided I am going to make a huge push to get better at photography. When I do travel I want to be able to document my adventure of where ever I end up like no one ever has before. I like where I'm at with my photography now, but I know I am far from where I aim to be. So since this entry is about travel I decided to post a few of my favorite shots from adventures I've taken so far. Everything from camping trips to trips in other states and even my trip to the dominican when I was but a wee little lad... (of 20).
A lot of these photos are from back in my point and shoot days so the photo quality may be a little lacking compared to my more recent work :)

Looking through all of my Nikon shots - I would say the majority of them are just from work, or from just my everyday life in general. I need to get out - I need to see the world and capture it in the same way that I've captured my every day life in this small little chunk of the globe that I live in. I see big things in the next year :) I can't wait. 2012 is going to be one hell of a year!
