I met up with about a dozen or so other photographers last night from the Southwest Denver Photo Team (
an awesome group, totally free to everyone where people meet, shoot, and share ideas and experience...and drink da beers) for some astrophotography; trying to photograph the night sky. We met up at a place far from where city lights would be polluting out sky called Jones Pass. Started out kind of cloudy, but as soon as it got dark those stars came out as bright as I've ever seen them.
Started out the evening by photographing a nearby stream while I waited for the sun to go down.
And then the stars came out!
Then there was light paintings!
